Roses and Lace pattern (Card size - Height: 6.75 inches Width: 5 1/2 inches)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Tools and Materials

• Parchment paper, 140gms – 150 gms
• White ink and mapping pen
• Ball embossing tools or shader
• 2-needle perforating tool and 4-needle (Straight) perforating tool
• Embossing pad and perforating pad
• Fine-mesh grid and one-needle perforating tool
• Felt-tip pens
• Ribbon (optional)
• Card stock

Instructions

1. There are two sets of patterns for the top and 2nd layer of the card.
2. Trace the design using a mapping pen with white ink.
3. Emboss areas inside the flowers and leaves.
4. Emboss areas within the lace design, as shown in the picture.
5. Apply colour on the reverse side of the flowers and leaves . You may use felt-tip pens.
6. Perforate areas within the lace design using a one-needle tool and a fine-mesh grid .
7. Prepare areas for cutwork and perforate using the two-needle perforating tool and 4-needle (straight) perforating tool. Cut out perforated areas.
8. Insert ribbon on the finished lacework if desired.
9. Arrange the two overlapping layers of the card and glue the two sheets together.
