Roses and Lace pattern (Card size - Height: 6.75 inches Width: 5 1/2 inches)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Tools and Materials
- Parchment paper, 140gms – 150 gms
- White ink and mapping pen
- Ball embossing tools or shader
- 2-needle perforating tool and 4-needle (Straight) perforating tool
- Embossing pad and perforating pad
- Fine-mesh grid and one-needle perforating tool
- Felt-tip pens
- Ribbon (optional)
- Card stock
Instructions
- There are two sets of patterns for the top and 2nd layer of the card.
- Trace the design using a mapping pen with white ink.
- Emboss areas inside the flowers and leaves.
- Emboss areas within the lace design, as shown in the picture.
- Apply colour on the reverse side of the flowers and leaves . You may use felt-tip pens.
- Perforate areas within the lace design using a one-needle tool and a fine-mesh grid .
- Prepare areas for cutwork and perforate using the two-needle perforating tool and 4-needle (straight) perforating tool. Cut out perforated areas.
- Insert ribbon on the finished lacework if desired.
- Arrange the two overlapping layers of the card and glue the two sheets together.
